Chris Liwski is an associate in the firm's Products Liability Practice Group, where he focuses on products liability, medical device, class action and multidistrict litigations.

Chris's litigation experience includes representing major pharmaceutical companies in defense of mass torts and strict liability, negligence, failure to warn, consumer fraud and wrongful death claims involving prescription medications and medical devices.  His practice also focuses on the defense of pharmaceutical companies in large-scale products liability cases involving unfair trade practice and off-label promotion claims on behalf of pharmaceutical companies and other commercial entities.

Professional Activities.  Chris is a world-champion gold medalist in the sport of rowing, a six-time U.S. National Team member, and a two-time member of the U.S. Olympic Rowing Team.  He currently sits on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Rowing Association and represents athletes in matters involving their governing body and the U.S. Olympic Committee.  Chris is also a member of the Brennan-Vanderbilt Inn of Court, the American Bar Association, and an alumni of the National Trial Advocacy College.

In General.  He began his career in law as a legal clerk for the assistant general counsel at Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick, NJ.  Chris earned his J.D. in 2007 from Boston College School of Law.  He received his M.S. degree in water science, policy and management in 2005 from Oxford University and his bachelor's degree, cum laude, in information management and technology in 2002 from Syracuse University.
