Building on its long history of high-profile transactional work, our dedicated Private Equity team provides a full range of fund formation, transactional and regulatory services to clients across a variety of industries.

We serve funds, investors and portfolio companies throughout the life cycle of an investment, from formation, through minority and control investments, platform and follow-on acquisitions, recapitalizations, restructurings and ultimately to dispositions and distribution of exit proceeds. In the last two years, our national M&A practice handled more than 145 M&A transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $15.5 billion. Approximately one-quarter of those transactions involved private equity firms.

Our team approaches each engagement the same way our clients manage their portfolio companies: with hands-on leadership by our partners; a business-minded approach to problem-solving; and a relentless pursuit of quality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness and ultimate success.

We regularly act as solution providers and strategic partners to our clients, working closely with our strong tax and corporate finance teams, as well as our antitrust, intellectual property, environmental, real estate and corporate restructuring groups, as needed, to efficiently address any issues that may arise throughout a transaction.
