Associate

Beth O. Arnese is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Her practice includes representing companies in class actions in federal and state court throughout California. She has been practicing at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP since she graduated from law school.

Bar Memberships. Beth is admitted to practice in all California State Courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the U.S. Distrcit Court for the Northern District of California, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.

Representative Experience.

• Drafted successful motion to exclude expert testimony.
• Assisted with multiple oppositions to class certification. 
• Served as national and local counsel for a variety of class action matters.
• Drafted several successful demurrers.
• Prepared petition for writ of mandate for the Sixth District Court of Appeal for California and obtained stay of all lower court proceedings.
• Conducted internal investigation of potential gender discrimination case for national client.

In General. Beth received a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science, with highest honors, from University of California, San Diego in 2001. She received her J.D. from University of California, Los Angeles, in 2005, where she was senior editor of the UCLA Law Review and notes editor of the UCLA Journal of Law and Technology. During law school, she served as an extern for the Hon. Christina M. Snyder, United States District Court for the Central District of California.
