Associate
Anhthu H. Le is a senior associate in the Commercial Litigation and Products Liability and Mass Tort Practice Groups. She has substantial litigation experience focusing on complex products liability, business disputes, contract interpretation, insurance coverage and construction defect issues.
Anhthu has served as national counsel in mass tort litigation, multidistrict litigation and coordinated proceedings in state courts. She has argued and won before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, obtaining dismissal of a class action lawsuit. She has defended corporations in state and federal courts in cases involving issues that include consumer protection laws, breach of contract, breach of warranties, preemption, conflict of law, strict liability, design and manufacturing defect, fraud, punitive damages, negligence, employment and emotional distress. She has also defended manufacturers in cases involving over-the-counter medications and prescription drugs. Additionally, she has counseled clients on various business issues.
In General. Anhthu graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, School of Law (Boalt Hall) where she was awarded the Moot Court Advocacy Award (Best Overall) and Prosser Prize for Legal Strategy. She received her bachelor’s degree, with honors, in economics from the University of California at Berkeley. Anhthu is fluent in Vietnamese.
