Alisa R. Lahey is an associate on the Communications Team in the Government and Regulatory Affairs Practice Group in Washington, D.C.
Alisa counsels broadcast clients on a variety of regulatory and transactional matters. She routinely advises clients on issues concerning day-to-day station operation, as well as matters such as existing and proposed regulations and compliance with the FCC’s EEO and ownership rules. Alisa assists clients with the preparation and submission of various of FCC filings including ownership reports and applications for facilities modifications. During the DTV transition, Alisa worked closely with commercial and non-commercial television broadcasters to navigate the changing regulatory landscape. She also has substantial experience assisting with complex transactions, including conducting FCC due diligence and preparing and prosecuting applications for FCC consent.
In General. Alisa received her J.D., with honors, from the George Washington University Law School in May, 2007. She graduated with honors from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in political science.
